 When will your gift ship.

All orders placed are normally shipped either the same day or within one business day. On priority shipping we do our best to ship the same day if the order is received early enough.(Before 12:00 PM EST) Standard shipping and delivery days are Monday-Friday.
Saturday Delivery is available only if shipment is made by UPS Next Day Air. A $15.50 surcharge will apply. Saturday delivery is not available on all products and is not available to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or Puerto Rico. Please make sure that Saturday delivery is required. We cannot ensure UPS delivery times and no refunds will be issued if delivery is made on some other weekday.

When will your gift arrive.

A lot depends on which warehouse your selection is being shipped from and of course where you a shipping it to along with the shipping method you select. For an estimate of UPS ground delivery times you can use one of our above shipping charts.

In each individual gift description there is a section labeled Shipping. That section will tell you which shipping chart to use to estimate UPS Ground delivery times.

If you are using a priority shipping method and assuming you placed your order before 12:00 PM EST, the delivery times are as follows.
Next Day Air orders will arrive the next business day.
2nd Day Air orders will arrive within two business days.
3 Day Select orders will arrive within three business days.

Keep in mind that the day that the gift ships does not count.
For example if you place your order before 12:00PM EST on a Tuesday and select Next Day Air, you gift will ship the same day and arrive the following day. If your order is placed after 12:00 PM it will not ship until Wednesday and will arrive on Thursday.
Also keep in mind that these are business days. Weekends do not count. Any orders placed after 12:00PM EST on a Friday will not ship until the following Monday.

Optional Shipping Instructions

On the order entry form item 7 is the optional shipping instructions. The default for this entry is ASAP which means your order will ship As Soon As Possible. If you wish you may enter a SHIP ON date in this field. Please note this is the SHIP ON date and not the date you wish your gift delivered. Once your gift leaves our warehouse it is up to UPS or USPS to deliver your gift. We can not guarantee a delivery date. Use one of the above shipping charts to calculate estimated delivery times.

Incorrect Shipping Address Charges

Please Verify your Shipping Information carefully

There will be a 17.50 address correction fee for orders to correct a bad address, incorrect zip codes, refused orders and non-deliverable address information supplied. We will send you an email once UPS and/or Fed Ex notify us that there is an issue with the address supplied.

If a package is returned to us by UPS due to a bad address, non-deliverable address or recipient refusal there is an a charge of 10.00 plus a 20% re-stocking fee in addition to the address correction fee to cover return shipping and all of the charges UPS charges us due to this error.

We currently ship only to the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada

We do not ship wine or fruit products to Canada or Puerto Rico and some states. Please see Wine and Fruit restrictions below.

We ship all our gift baskets and boxes using United Parcel Service, Federal Express or United States Postal Service 

We offer four standard UPS methods of Shipping.

UPS Next Day Air

When you place your order you will be given the option of selecting your shipping method.

Our site is linked directly to UPS and UPS calculates the estimated shipping charges for you based upon the shipping weight of your gift.

These charges will appear for each method at check out so you will have a good idea which method you want to ship by and what each option will cost before you complete your order.

Please Note: On Express delivery options your shipping charges may need to be adjusted based upon both weight and size of your gift. We reserve the right to adjust your shipping charges when your order ships.

Saturday UPS Delivery is available on Next Day Air only (A $15.50 nonrefundable surcharge will apply) Saturday delivery is not available on all products and is not Available in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Canada. We Do not recomend that you choose Saturday Delivery except on Thursday Orders or Orders Placed before 12:00PM Friday.

Not All our products are available for USPS shipping

UPS does not ship to PO APO or FPO Boxes. All PO BOX addresses must be shipped via the USPS

You may not ship more then one gift selection per order to Canada

UPS is now available for shipments to Canada.

UPS Ground and UPS 3 Day Select is not available on our wine gift baskets to Alaska or Hawaii.

UPS 3 Day Select is not available on shipments to Puerto Rico.

We offer three standard methods of shipping using USPS

Shipping your gift by USPS is AT YOUR OWN RISK as they do not have a reliable tracking method

USPS (Parcel Post) to all Street Addresses

USPS To AP, AA, APO & FPO Boxes

USPS to AE & PO Boxes

USPS Shipments are limited to a MSRP (Manufactures Suggested Retail Price) of less than $100.00

As of October 8th, 2008 all APO and FPO shipping will be standardized to the following prices:

USPS to PO, APO & FPO boxes are limited to a MSRP of less than $70.00

· All PO & AE shipments $19.95

· All FPO, APO, AA & AP shipments $22.95

Please Note: USPS does not provide tracking information. All products shipped by USPS is at your own risk.

The following surcharges DO NOT apply to our wine gift baskets.

There will be a $15.50 surcharge added for UPS Ground shipments to Hawaii and Alaska.

There will be a $24.50 surcharge added for Priority UPS shipments to Hawaii and Alaska.

There will be a $28.50 to $33.50 surcharge added for shipments to Puerto Rico. 

The following surcharges may apply

You have the option of selecting Saturday delivery using UPS Next Day Air. There will be a $15.50 surcharge added to your bill if you select this option.

Do not select this option unless you feel it necessary. Refunds will not be given if UPS delivers on some other work day. A good time to consider this option would be on a Thursday order (all day) or a Friday order if placed before 12:00 PM EST.

Wine products shipping restrictions.

We cannot ship wine products to Canada, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.

All of our wine products must be shipped by UPS.

Due to individual state shipping restrictions we cannot ship wine products to the following states.

AL Alabama, AK Alaska, DE Delaware, KY Kentucky,  MS Mississippi, MT Montana, NM New Mexico, OK Oklahoma, SD South Dakota, TX Texas and UT Utah

If you attempt to ship to Canada, one of these states or choose a shipping method other then UPS, your order may appear to be processed, but it will not be shipped. An e-mail will be sent asking for a new shipping address or shipping method delaying your order.

Your Wine Gift Must be Signed for by an Adult.

All wine shipments must be signed for by an adult at least 21. There will be a $4.95 handling charge applied to your order for this UPS service.

UPS or FedEx will only make so many attempts to deliver a gift requiring an adult signature. It is your responsibility to notify your recipient of a gifts pending arrival. Gifts returned to Bob's Gift Baskets because of a lack of an adult signature will not be refunded

Important Shopping Note: Due to USDA or state-level Departments of Agriculture, some fruit items cannot be shipped to certain states. Please refer to the list below to guide you while shopping.

Sorry, we cannot ship fruit to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, to PO/APO/FPO addresses or any countries besides the US at this time.

Further Notes on Shipping

On priority shipments we try to ship the same day if your order is received before 12:00 PM EST. Ground shipments will be within 24 to 48 hours.

On some products we highly recommed next day air as a shipping method. These products may melt in the heat of delivery trucks. The products that we recommend next day air on will apprear in the Shipping window below the product description. We cannot be resposible if you chose any other delivery methods. 

 You will be given a field for optional shipping instructions at check out. The default entry is ASAP. Leave this entry alone unless you do not wish your order shipped right away. If you are ordering early for a special occasion you may change this entry to a SHIP ON date. Please note that this is the date your order will then be shipped so allow plenty of time for delivery.
