Our Web Site is a secure site and your credit card information is not stored electronicly or on paper; thus it is never available to anyone attempting to access your credit card information. Phone orders require that the person taking your order write it down creating a record that can get lost or stolen. In addition errors can be made in copying down your credit card information, your selected products or your shipping information. Yes and No: Yes if the web site uses data encryption and does not store your credit card information. At Bob's Gift Baskets we are a secure site which encrypts your credit card information while processing your credit card. Your credit card information is not stored anywhere at our site once your order has been processed. In fact our staff never even sees more then the last four digits of your credit card. There is no list of credit card numbers stored electronically or on paper anywhere on our site or in our offices. This prevents Hacker's from accessing your information at our site. No if the web site does not use data encryption or stores your credit card information either on paper or electronically. Once stored it is susceptible to theft and hackers. It is also considered unsafe to give anyone verbal or written information about your credit card as this stores your information. Back to Top I don't understand. How do you process my credit card if you don't have the number? Because we never see it. Once you submit your order your encrypted information goes directly to our credit card processor. If your card is accepted we are then informed that it was accepted and your order is processed. We receive only the last four digits of your credit card from them at that time so that if you contact us later we can let you know which card you used or if your card was declined it allows us to notify you with the last four digits or your card. We never at any time have access to your entire card number. Back to Top PayPay is an optional payment method that you can sign up for. It alows you to make your payments online by using payment methods of your choice. It is considered by many to be a safer way to shop and is widely used by many online sites like ebay and others. Back to Top Can I return the gift if it is damaged? Yes, with the exception of our wine and fruit gift products, shipments to APO, FPO, PO Boxes, Hospitas, Purto Rico and Canada. All claims of damage will either refunded or replaced provided your claim is made within three days of receiving the gift. Please see Our Policy Page for exceptions and details. Back to Top Out of stock items are not displayed on any of our pages so if you see an item is is probably in stock. Exceptions do occur from time to time. For example if a selection runs out of stock during the day, there is a slight delay before our web site is updated. Also if you go direct to the URL address of an out of stock item, you will see the item, but you will be informed that it is out of stock and be unable to order it. Back To Top Can I reserve an Out of Stock Gift? No. We cannot predict exactily when a gift item will come back into stock. A gift selction also may be under consideration to be discontinued. Back to Top Can I customize a basket by adding additional items to the basket? Yes, but we cannot do this to all baskets and this option is not available during peak ordering times. I’m sending this as a gift. Do your prices appear on the packing slip? No the packing slip only lists the products in the package, who shipped it (Bob's Gift Baskets) and your recipients shipping address. Back to Top Can I include a short note with the gift? Yes. You will be given the option to include a note with your gift. Please do not forget to include your name in your note so that your recipient will know who sent the gift. Your card enclosure will go into a clear packing sleeve on top of the box. It is clearly labeled "Your personal card message is enclosed here." See Sample Gift Card Why is your gift card message a required response? Unfortunately many of our customers have forgotten to enter a message in that field at check out time. This has resulted in delays while we try to contact our customer to see if they have forgotten to enter a message. If you do not wish to include a personalized gift card message simply type in None at the required response. Back to Top Some of your products come in different sizes. How can I tell what the contents are of the other size baskets? In cases where there are different size baskets, if you look below the add to cart button there is also available to you a red other size description. Click on the size you wish to see and a description of that size will be displayed. Back to Top I can't seem to get passed the SHIP TO page when I try to check out. Why is that? Because some of our customers have tried to ship wine or fruit products to states or destinations we are not allowed to ship to we now suspend your order at that point rather then allowing it to go through. Please check that you are not trying to ship wine or fruit to a state or destination you are not allowed to or that you are not trying to use a shipping method that is not allowed for that product. Back to Top Why can't I download your E-Books when I place the order? Two reasons: Our E-Books are available from many on line distributors and we cannot be responsible for their policies. When ordering directly from Bob's Gift Baskets many of our customers are purchasing our E-Books as a gift. We will send the E-Book in an e-mail directly to the e-mail address you specify when you place your order within 24 hours. This gives you time to notify your recipient to expect an e-mail from bobsgiftbaskets@gmail.com and it will have the E-Book attached to the e-mail. This gives them time to turn off their SPAM filter or to check their SPAM inbox. Back to Top Why don't you offer free shipping like some other sites? Simply because there is no such thing as free. Sites that offer you free shipping often do so by marking up the price of their product to cover shipping costs or require you to order in quantity. At Bob's Gift Baskets we give you the best prices we can afford. No hype, no bull. We do offer free shipping on several gift selections and also offer a customer reward program where you can earn free shipping and other discounts. We have also instituted on a trial basis on selected products offering free UPS Ground shipping. This is only on selected items that we can afford to offer the free shipping without marking up the price to do so. Back to Top If you are willing to pay for Saturday delivery it is available Using UPS Next Day Air. This option is only available when you choose Next Day Air as a shipping method. There is a non refundable $15.50 surcharge added for Saturday deliveries in addition to the Next Day Air charges. Back to Top When should I select Saturday Delivery? We try to ship all priority orders the same day if received before 12:00 PM EST. A good time to consider the Saturday delivery option would be on orders placed on a Thursday or before 12:00 PM Friday. Back to Top What shipping methods are available and why aren't they available on all your gift items? All our products are normally shipped UPS. You have your choice of UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2 Day Air and UPS Next Day Air. Please note that UPS does not ship to any Box addresses. You must choose USPS when shipping to a PO Box. Some gift items require special handling or have shipping restrictions. We try to offer all shipping options whenever possible. When we must limit the shipping options the available options will have a shipping estimate displayed next to them after you have entered your shipping information and hit the UPDATE button. Back to Top Why must I select a UPS shipping method when shipping your wine gift products? Our Wine Gift Products must be signed for by an adult age 21 or above. It is the Law. UPS provides this service for a $3.50 surcharge which will be added to your wine basket order. Back to Top Why can’t I ship your Wine Products to any state I wish like I can your other Gift Products? Some states simply do not allow the shipment of alcoholic beverages. It is an individual State Law. Back to Top How are your products packaged for shipping? All our gift baskets are shipped in protective packaging to ensure safe arrival. Back to Top Do you ship to APO and FPO addresses? Yes. Back to Top Why are Next Day Air Shipping charges so high? They just are. Our rates are calculated by a direct link to our UPS account. UPS calculates the rates not us. At this time we take Master Card, Visa, and Discover cards. You may also charge your PayPal account. Also if someone has sent you a Gift Certificate you may use that to pay for your gift. At check out there is a field to specify a SHIP ON date. This entry has a default value of ASAP. If you wish to delay your shipment until a later date you may enter a date here. If you are shipping to a hospital please be aware that often gifts are shipped to the receiving department and then need to be taken by hospital staff to the patient. We are not responsible for gift baskets becoming lost or misplaced once it is delivered to the hospital, failure of the hospital staff to deliver the gift to the patient's room or arriving after a patient has been released.
