Below are five topics to help ease your gift selection process and checkout. Simply click on them to be directed to that section. The five topics are: Step 1 Checkout (Ship To Information) Step 2 Checkout (Bill To Information) Final Step (Verify Your Order)
When you first visit Bob's Gift Baskets you will normally be at our Home Page. We currently have over seven hundred gift selections to choose from and it would be too confusing to list them all on our Home Page. A list of other pages and categories on our site is listed on the left in bold black categories to ease your shopping experience. By clicking on another page you will be directed to gift selections in that category. Some of our pages like the Holiday Gift Baskets and the Wine Gift Baskets have Sub Pages that you may visit.Once you are in one of our product category pages you will see a list of selections in that category. A short description and a small image will be visible for each selection. You may click on the image or the More info >> to see a detailed description or view a larger image. You may add an item to your shopping cart by clicking on the Add To Cart button. Some of our selections come in different sizes or colors. These will be indicated by a (Size), (Color) or (Style) wording in the product name. Be sure to click on the image or More info >> to see what options are available for that selection. If you would like to see more information on any selection then click on the image, product name or the More info >> tab and you will then see a detailed description of the product. You will also have the option to view a larger image of the selection. After looking at the larger image click on the Close X in the lower right of the image to return to the gift selection description.Please Note: That some of our pages contain several items. To Speed the load process for each page these items are limited to 20 items per page. You will be notified of pages that contain multiple listings. To view the next page you will need to click on the Next Page Number at the bottom of the listing. Some of our gift selections come in different sizes. Selections that do will have a Other Size Description option listed in Red below the product description. To see a description of a different size basket content click on the Other Size Description to view the content, pricing or to or order that size basket. Sometimes the ordering and checkout process can be a little confusing to our customers not used to purchasing products using the Internet. In order to better assist you in the checkout process, please review the following steps. Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, click on the Add to Cart button. The item will then be added to your shopping cart, much like you do while shopping in any store. You may add one item or as many as you like to your cart. You may view the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the View Cart button in the upper right of your screen. If you have an item in your cart that you would like to remove, click on the check box next to the item and then click on the delete button at the bottom. You cart will be updated showing the correction. If you wish to change the quantity of an item, change the quantity box next to the item and then click on the Update button near the bottom. After you have selected an item and added it to your cart you may then elect to Continue Shopping or Proceed to Checkout When you are through shopping then click on Proceed to Checkout or click on the Checkout button in the upper right of your screen. The first step in the checkout process is where you will enter the Ship To information. This is where you will enter your gift recipients name, address and other important information to enable us to correctly ship your gift selection. Please verify your shipping address and zip code. UPS charges for address corrections if they can deterime them and this charge will be billed to your card as will returned undeliverable gifts. Entries marked with an asterisk * are required entries and must be entered to proceed to the Next step. You will not be allowed to proceed to the Next step if you do not enter the appropriate information into these fields. If you do not enter information into a required entry a list of missing entries will be displayed at the top of the page. Correct your entries and then proceed to the Next step. The products you ordered will be listed at the top of the page along with your sub total, shipping charges and the Total of your order. Enter all of the required fields. Please note that your email address is a required entry. Enter your own email address in this field. This is important as we will send your order verification to this address and this is how we will contact you if there are any problems with your order. UPS also requests that you enter your gift recipients phone number as it is a means for them to contact your recipient if they are having trouble delivering your gift. If you do not know the number, then enter your own phone number in this field. If you wish to include a personalized gift card message this is where you may do so. You may view a sample of the gift card by visiting Our Policy Page. Do not forget to include your name or company name in the messaage. Please Note: Some of our customers have forgotten to enter a gift message here so this is now a required entry. If you do not wish to include a message then type in the word None. If you have a discount coupon you may also enter the coupon code on this page. If you wish to verify that your coupon was accepted you may click on the Update button at the bottom of the page. This is also where you will enter the word shipping if this gift qualifies for free or discounted shipping. Please note: You may select shipping or the discount coupon, but not both. On this page you will also chose your preferred shipping method. For your convenience, estimated shipping charges are displayed to the right of each method. Please Note: Only the UPS Ground rate is correct. The rest are estimated charges and the actual difference will be credited or billed to your credit card. These estimated charges may not appear until you have entered a ship to zip code and state. If after entering a ship to zip code and state you may click on the Update button to view the estimated shipping charges. If after entering the Zip Code and State and clicking on the Update button and you still see a 0.00 amount in the shipping method field, then that method is not available for your gift selection. Choose another shipping method. Simply click on the shipping method of your choice. Our default shipping method is UPS Ground and the charge should be listed in your shopping cart. If you change the shipping method, your cart will automatically be updated when you proceed to the Next step. If you wish to verify this change before proceeding you may click on the Update button at the bottom if the page. You will notice that there is a Saturday Delivery option. The default entry is NO. If you desire your order to be delivered on a Saturday then change this entry to a YES. Please note that you must also select UPS Next Day Air for your shipping method. Do not change this entry to a yes unless you really need to as a surcharge will be added for Saturday Delivery. There is also an option for Dry Ice Packing. On some of our chocolate gifts we may recomend Dry Ice Packing. Those that we recomend will have a notice under Shipping near the bottom of each selections detailed description. The default in this field is No. Do not change this field to a Yes unless you need to as a surcharge will be added to your order. You will also notice that there is a field for optional shipping instructions. The default entry here is ASAP. Leave this entry alone unless you do not wish your order shipped right away. If you are ordering early for a special occasion you may change this entry to a SHIP ON date. Please note that this is the date your order will then be shipped so allow plenty of time for delivery. Once you have completed all the required entries you may click on the Update button located at the bottom of the form to review your entries or the Next Step button which will bring up the Bill To Page. Okay now that you have completed the Ship To information page, the next step is the Bill To information page. This is where you will enter your own name address and other important information. Your progress through the checkout process is displayed at the top of the page with your current position highlighted in Bold. If you wish to go back to a previous page you may click on the Previous button at the bottom of the page. If you are ordering this gift selection for yourself and entered the Ship To information in the previous step you may click on the Same as Ship to button. To verify and update the entry field information you may click on the Update button near the bottom of the page. You may however continue with selecting your payment method without using the Update button. The information will be filled in when you proceed to the Next step. It is important for you to know that for your safety our credit card processor will verify that your billing information matches that of your credit card. If you are sending your gift selection to someone else, then you must complete all the required entries to continue. Entries marked with an * are required entries and must be entered to proceed to the next step. You will not be allowed to proceed to the Next step if you do not enter the appropriate information into these fields. If you do not enter information into a required entry you will be notified of the missing information. Correct your entries and then proceed to the Next step. Select your payment method by clicking on the appropriate credit card and then entering you credit card information into the required fields. You need not separate the credit card numbers with dashes or spaces, but you may do so if you wish. Again, this is a secure page. All your credit card information will be encrypted for your safety. If you prefer, you may charge your order to your PayPal account. To do so please insure that the email address you entered is the correct email address for your PayPal account. If someone has sent you a Gift Certificate there is a block where you may enter the Gift Certificate number. Enter the number on your certificate and click on the Apply button. If your purchase has exceeded your certificate amount you may then enter your credit card number for the balance of your order. If your purchase did not exceed the amount of your certificate, then you may use the balance of your certificate for further puchases. Your Checkout process is now almost complete. The final step is for you to verify the content of your order and the correct Ship To and Bill To information if needed. Please review this information carefully. Additional UPS fees for address corrections or undeliverable gifts will be billed to your card. If you find that you made a mistake and need to correct any fields you may do so by clicking on the Back button. If you do not see any shipping charges on your order, then there is a problem with your order. You may be trying to ship wine to a state or country that does not allow wine shipments, you may be trying to use UPS to ship to a Box address, you may have exceeded the USPS maximum for a Box address, you may be trying to ship more then one item to Canada. A full description of shipping restrictions are provided on our Shipping Page. Once you have corrected any entries, click on the Next button until you have returned to the Verify Page. When you are satisfied that your order is correct click on the Submit button. Your order will then be processed. You will recieve a verification email once your order has been received by Bob's Gift Baskets. If you were purchasing a gift certificate for someone be sure to click on the Print button to print and or save your gift certificate. That is it. You are done or you may continue shopping with us.
